While it may seem hard to have a cohesive album under her belt, especially given the variety of musical styles displayed herein, Alice's wide ranged and intensely soulful vocals blend well and gives rise to her captivating style. The album begins with "Dream", a somewhat Broadwayesque song that kicks off with Alice's cool vocal cadence and lyrics that are just a warmly serene: "back in the days my heart never made a sound, now it's beating loud, my head in the clouds, never doubt that I'mma always be down to hang around you While the music seems to sometimes come from another era, her lyrics and vocab are definitely contemporary and her style is all her own.
Alice comes across as a young woman reaching maturity and reflecting a bit on her life, the environment around her, and where she's headed.
