Long term, the only way to be sure of running any version of Money is to run it in a virtual machine with a version of Windows known not to have problems with that version of Money. If you do not have an available version of Windows, you can try running Money under Wine in a version of Linux, either natively or in a virtual machine. I have registered for the insider program and have a beta version of Windows 10 installed on a virtual machine. I can successfully report that after downloading the setup file Money UK - QFE2 from the above link, I ran the file and it set up with no problems, hiccups, or any adjustment whatsoever follow the on screen instructions.
I loaded up one of my existing back up files to ensure that it functions and it looks fine. As this is only a Win 10 beta version, I do not intend to do any extensive testing but I am now relaxed that I will be able to continue using MS Money for many years to come. For the record, I experienced the same compatibility when using Windows 8 and then 8.
